Our Leadership

Brandon Schipper

Meet Our Pastor

Pastor Brandon Schipper first filled the pulpit at First Reformed Church in February 2024. Sensing God’s call to pastoral ministry, he began serving as a part-time interim pastor in August 2024 while pursuing ordination through the ARC Pathways program. On January 16, 2025, he was officially ordained by the ARC as the 100th graduate of the Pathways program. Shortly after, on March 1, 2025, Pastor Brandon stepped into the role of full-time interim pastor at First Reformed, with his ordination service held at the church on March 30, 2025.

Born and raised in Aplington, Pastor Brandon has been a part of the Reformed Church his entire life. He and his wife, Lesa, live on an acreage in Aplington with their two sons, Bodee (12) and Jovee (10). Pastor Brandon is passionate about guiding First Reformed Church as it lives out its mission: “Growing in Christ and Nourishing His World in Aplington and Beyond.”
